Sleeping in this hotel is a dream! The Gai Soleil was originally a farm house that was turned into a hotel, and it shows. The bedrooms (and the entire hotel, really) have a rustic, farmhouse charm but with no compromise on comfort and luxury. Not only that, but the hotel is absolutely chock full of cozy corners to sit down and rest your weary, wobbly legs!

Gai Soleil has one of the few Michelin starred restaurants along the Tour du Mont Blanc trail, so of course we bring our guests there to eat. What more can we say? Michelin star pretty much says it all– you’re guaranteed an amazing gastronomic experience. This homestead has definitely come a long way from its humble beginnings!

Last but certainly not our least favorite thing about Gai Soleil, it’s beautiful everywhere. Not only is the hotel itself full of charming, nostalgic touches, the view outside is also breathtaking! In late spring and early summer, the garden is a full blown riot of flowers. From the moment you begin approaching the hotel from afar to when you take your parting steps from its front door, everywhere you look is amazing.
